Start with the full idea

Plan the sleeve.
Build it in stages.

Think about the main subjects, the mood, and how much of your arm or leg you want covered. At your consultation, we will discuss the focal points, the space between them, and how the design connects around the body.

Starting fresh gives us a different canvas from extending existing work. Send photos of the whole area so Billy can assess the layout and discuss what is achievable before scheduling.

Sessions & pricing

Make a plan that fits.

$200 per hour · $600 half day · $1,200 full day

Total time depends on coverage and detail. A $200 retainer is required for all scheduling. An in-person consultation is required; a virtual consultation is available if distance prevents you from attending.

Before your consultation

Sleeve questions, answered.

Can we build a sleeve over several appointments?+

Yes. Sleeves are planned as multi-session projects. Share the overall idea at the consultation so the subjects and available space can be considered together, even when the work happens in stages.

Can you incorporate tattoos I already have?+

Send clear photos of the existing tattoos and the surrounding area. Billy will assess how new work could connect with them during the consultation; what is possible depends on their placement, size, and darkness.

Should I choose every subject before the consultation?+

Bring your main idea and any subjects that matter most. You do not need to arrive with a finished layout. The consultation is where you discuss focus, flow, and how the piece will fit your arm or leg.

What references should I send?+

Include examples of the style you like, your preferred subjects, and clear photos of the intended arm or leg. Mention color or black and grey, existing tattoos, your budget, and any timing constraints.

How much does a sleeve cost?+

There is no single price for every sleeve. Coverage, detail, and the work involved determine the time needed. Billy charges $200 per hour, with half-day sessions at $600 and full-day sessions at $1,200. Discuss the project and session plan at your consultation.
