Discuss your tattooStart with the right expression.
The reference is an important part of a portrait conversation. A photograph may capture the expression you love even when a different image shows the features more clearly. Bring several options if you have them, and explain what makes the person or animal recognizable to you.
Planning your piece
Send the clearest original photographs available rather than screenshots with filters or text. Include the intended body placement and approximate size. If you want names, dates, or supporting imagery, mention them at the beginning so they can be considered with the portrait.
What if I only have an older photograph?
Share the best version you have. Billy can review it during the consultation and discuss whether it provides enough information for the portrait you want. A final design cannot be promised before the reference is reviewed.
